Nathan & Chelsea – Engagement

Nathan Johnston and Chelsea Pearson are engaged to be married on June 4, 2016.  It was a beautiful sunny winter day in West Texas at Chelsea’s family ranch.  Talk about character with a capitol “C”.

The corrugated barn was a perfect background to the rusty, vintage set-up.  My hubs found the settee in an alley by the dumpster years ago and I had it recovered in old quilts.  We added pops of color with the wreath of succulents and white blooms.  An old metal pitcher filled with cotton stems on a dilapidated chair added a touch of whimsy.

One wish Chelsea had was a backdrop to cactus.  Now that was interesting. But I love how it turned out.

Questions and Answers:

How many may come to the class?
Minimum of 6-15.

Do I have to be an artist to come?
Absolutely not. You will be learning very basic skills, yet it will be fun for the artistic as well.

Do you offer private classes/parties?
Yes, I prefer a minimum of 6.

Will you come to my home or business to teach a class?
Yes, and I will bring all the art supplies.
You will need to provide: covered tables, chairs, drying station (blowdryers or heat guns), electricity/extension cords and cleaning station.
Please allow ample space per person at the table, as the canvases take up a lot of room. I do not use easels.
You may also provide snacks and drinks. I do not recommend an entire meal due to time limit. Most that come to the classes don’t even snack much as they are excited to paint.

How much do the classes cost?
Bible Journalling classes are $30 per person
Canvas Classes are $40 per person

What should I wear?
Apron or old clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on.

May I bring my children?
Children 10 and older are welcome to attend the classes. It is the same price for children as adults.

How long do the classes last?
1 1/2-2 hours

Where are the classes?
In my home studio. I send the address once you sign up.
