Bach & Bongos? Now that’s an interesting title
We decided to capture Jennifer Krenik and Josh Goates’ engagement with a vintage picnic in the woods. These two were the cutest, funniest, most talented couple ever! They had also told me that Josh plans an all out jam session at the reception with all kinds of instruments and tons of talented guests. I love music and know the reception is going to be a highlight.
I asked them to bring their instruments and they were the perfect props. Jennifer and Josh are both instrumentalists at Mid-Cities Church (my church). I absolutely love to watch Jennifer play the violin (hence the Bach). She plays with her whole heart. Josh’s talent brings the beat on any kind of rhythm instrument you can imagine (thus the Bongos) and is a real asset to our worship each Sunday.
Josh surprised Jen when he took her for a walk in the woods and knelt down and proposed. Little did she know that two of his friends were in full camouflage taking pictures of the whole event. Props to Josh for a well planned engagement! The ring is gorgeous too!
Their wedding is set for June 15. Can’t wait.
Such a beautiful couple. Congrats Josh and Jen!
She’s a little bit Bach, He’s a little bit Bongo!
But together they make great harmony!
Josh: Pick up the tempo a little.
Jen: Are you playing in the right key?
Josh: Is that thing tuned?
Jen: I don’t think this is working…
And that’s what I call real harmony….this band… uh…marriage will last forever!
